Kgaswe International School had the privilege of attending, embracing and celebrating our culture at the annual Majestic Five Hotel event; "Lethabula Day." Our Marimba band performed in front of the likes of Kgosi Martha Lebang, famous artists such as Dr Vom, Sua Pan, Maghebula, Photsana Cultural Group, Hot Fire Choir and many more. It was a chance to taste a variety of Setswana food such as bogobe ja lerotse, ting, phane and many more.
As our first president said, “Chaba e senang ngwao ke moka e lathegileng”, meaning a nation without a culture is a lost one.
