Kgaswe International School had the privilege of attending, embracing and celebrating our culture at the annual Majestic Five Hotel event; "Lethabula Day." Our Marimba band performed in front of the likes of Kgosi Martha Lebang, famous artists such as Dr Vom, Sua Pan, Maghebula, Photsana Cultural Group, Hot Fire Choir and many more. It was a chance to taste a variety of Setswana food such as bogobe ja lerotse, ting, phane and many more.
As our first president said, “Chaba e senang ngwao ke moka e lathegileng”, meaning a nation without a culture is a lost one. 🇧🇼

Drug abuse continues to be a pressing issue affecting individuals and communities worldwide. In light of this, it becomes crucial to educate students about the dangers and consequences of drugs and substance abuse. We had the honors of being visited by the Crime Investigation Department(CID) to increase awareness and knowledge to our students.

We as Kgaswe International School believe that by providing accurate information from relevant sources, students gain a better understanding of the potential dangers and can make informed choices when faced with peer pressure or challenging situations. The CID were able to touch on issues such as health risks, addiction and legal outcomes.

Creating a safer and healthier society for future generations starts today.

Academic And Substance Abuse Motivational Speaking Session

To help our students have an improved mental health, better academic performance and self-confidence, we had guests from Emperitus Academy to have a motivational session with our form 2 students.
A special thank you to Emperitus Academy's Branch Manager Dimpho V. Mokwena and one of their tutors Thobo P. Segodi for the positive reinforcement and inspirational speaking done to our students. Lives were definitely changed for the better for a brighter future.

Kgaswe Primary boys soccer team left everyone amazed because of how they could maneuver through tight spaces effortlessly making quick reflexes and displaying excellent ball control and dribbling skills. Our U9 boys team on the other hand took the cup home by obtaining position number 1. Thank you also to all the parents that managed to come and support us and the coaches for dedicating your time to train our superstars.

Kgaswe Donate Goodie Snacks To House Of Hope Pre-Schoolers

What an admirable way of cultivating a sense of social responsibility with our Scripture Union(SU) members accompanied by Mr. Phuu. By nurturing generosity and a culture of giving, we can empower children to become caring individuals who actively contribute to the well-being of others and work towards creating a compassionate world.
